Connect the Real World to Minecraft (Educators)
Sunday 16th, 11:30 (Room C)
Using MicroPython on a micro:bit and the Python MinecraftPi Edition API we will explore making things happen on the board triggered by events in the Minecraft world and making events happen in the Minecraft world triggered by events happening on the board.
Once the basics of making the two things communicate is established then the coders will have a chance to hack together something of their own devising.
This will include discussions of how teachers might be able to do this in their classrooms and what some of the pitfalls might be.
